The wildlife of Sri Lanka includes its flora and fauna and their natural habitats. Sri Lanka has one of the highest rates of biological endemism (16% of the fauna and 23% of flowering plants are endemic.

This and the different climate zones and habitats makes it a perfect destination for wildlife adventures and photographic expeditions. Apart from the typical touristic areas it’s still very wild and only a few travelers find their way to the beautiful remote places of this incredible island.
